Shrimp and Scallops Sophia

If you have dined at the Hawthorne, chances are that you have tried our famous Shrimp and Scallops Sophia.

Named for Sophia Peabody Hawthorne, who married Nathaniel Hawthorne on July 9, 1842, the dish embraces a balanced palate with a rich and creamy risotto that complements the sautéed shrimp and seared scallops. Add some grilled asparagus and spinach and you have a very tasty dish that satisfies the biggest appetite.

While we are in the process of changing Nat's menu to add new and exciting dishes, we are keeping this on, as it is truly one of our signature items that you just have to try.

See you next time at the Hawthorne!
