New Employee Locker Room

Not everything we post here is directly about things we do for our guests.  Since we call this our "daily diary" it is meant to document a lot of what we do here at the Hawthorne Hotel for the entire operation.

This week we are putting the finishing touches on a complete overhaul of our staff locker room.  This has been something that has gotten put on the bottom of the "to-do" list far too many times, but not any more!

Our team members are very happy for the attention finally paid to this area, and so we thought you, fair blog reader, would also like to see a glimpse of the "heart of the hotel" that you would otherwise not get to see.



With many thanks to Megan Campbell who helped us space-plan this room to get the maximum usage from it, and who ordered everything for us.  Thanks to our maintenance crew for the work they did in getting the room ready for, and assembling the new lockers, to everyone who assisted with moving out the old and in the new, and to the crew from Business Floors for the great tile installation.

I hope to see you at the Hawthorne Hotel, and trust that you will be pleased in how we are making things better for our team members who take care of you!
