What’s Happening in Salem this week
The Peabody Essex Museum presents Branching Out: Trees as Art, an exhibition in the museum’s Art & Nature Center that explores the often unexpected ways in which contemporary artists use trees as an inspiration and a medium. Made from bark, wood, roots, seedpods, leaves, fossilized resin (amber) and biosignals, more than 35 varied works and a selection of hands-on interactive opportunities ask us to consider our relationship with trees as a vital natural force.

VIP of the Day
The Hawthorne Hotel would like to welcome their VIP of the day Lora Lipman!

Flags of the Day

This Day in History
In a letter dated December 3, 1776, General George Washington writes to Congress from his headquarters in Trenton, New Jersey, to report that he had transported much of the Continental Army's stores and baggage across the Delaware River to Pennsylvania.

I hope to see you here!
