What’s Happening in Salem this week
The Peabody Essex Museum presents Branching Out: Trees as Art, an exhibition in the museum’s Art & Nature Center that explores the often unexpected ways in which contemporary artists use trees as an inspiration and a medium. Made from bark, wood, roots, seedpods, leaves, fossilized resin (amber) and biosignals, more than 35 varied works and a selection of hands-on interactive opportunities ask us to consider our relationship with trees as a vital natural force.

VIP of the Day
The Hawthorne Hotel would like to welcome their VIP of the day Patricia Lukos!

Flags of the Day

This Day in History
On this day in 1941, Adolf Hitler declares war on the United States, bringing America, which had been neutral, into the European conflict.

I hope to see you here!
