Turner's Seafood

 Now that the crazy crush of October is in the rearview mirror, we thought we would share with you some of the places we recommend to our hotel guests when they decide to venture out into the City of Salem (rather than staying put in the Hawthorne Hotel) for a meal.

One of the places that we enjoy sending guests who are seeking great fresh seafood is Turner's Seafood at Lyceum Hall.  It is only a few blocks away from the Hawthorne Hotel, and it is located in an equally historic building -- Lyceum Hall -- famous for one of the first radio transmissions made by Alexander Graham Bell.

They even have a small seafood "market" so you can buy fresh fish to take home with you:
