A Lovely Little Catered Affair

One of the things we love to do is catering.  Many businesses say they do catering, and then they hand you a group of menus, and that is that.  Here at the Hawthorne Hotel, and Hawthorne Catering, we really love it when our clients want something unique.  That was the case earlier this summer when we catered this lovely meal at a historic home in Salem.

 A Special Luncheon Menu

A and J King Artisan Breads and Rolls
Sweet Cream Butter and Infused Olive Oils at the Table

Salad Course
Scarlet Butter and Green Oak Lettuces Dressed in Champagne Vinaigrette with Warm Local Camembert, Fresh Apricots and Toasted Hazelnuts

Main Course
Sliced Beef Medallions Served with Lemony Ricotta Risotto and Pan-Seared Asparagus, Caramelized Shallot Compound Butter

Summer Vegetable Ragout with Artichokes, Fava Beans, Edamame, Heirloom Tomatoes and Cipollini Onions, Feta-Dotted Polenta Cake (Not pictured)

House-Made Chocolate Mousse in a Crepe with Warm Orange-Infused Crème Anglaise,  Chantilly Cream

Here is a photo of our team members that day hamming it up, in a slightly out-of-focus "selfie" while they were getting ready for this event:

I hope you enjoy this little look at something you would not otherwise get to see.

And of course, if we can assist you with a special event, please call us at 978-825-4358.
