A Lovely Little Catered Affair

One of the things we love to do is catering.  Many businesses say they do catering, and then they hand you a group of menus, and that is that.  Here at the Hawthorne Hotel, and Hawthorne Catering, we really love it when our clients want something unique.  That was the case earlier this summer when we catered this lovely meal at a historic home in Salem.



 A Special Luncheon Menu


A and J King Artisan Breads and Rolls 
Sweet Cream Butter and Infused Olive Oils at the Table



Salad Course
                Scarlet Butter and Green Oak Lettuces Dressed in Champagne Vinaigrette with Warm Local Camembert, Fresh Apricots and Toasted Hazelnuts



Main Course
                Sliced Beef Medallions Served with Lemony Ricotta Risotto and Pan-Seared Asparagus, Caramelized Shallot Compound Butter

                Summer Vegetable Ragout with Artichokes, Fava Beans, Edamame, Heirloom Tomatoes and Cipollini Onions, Feta-Dotted Polenta Cake (Not pictured)


Dessert
                House-Made Chocolate Mousse in a Crepe with Warm Orange-Infused Crème Anglaise,  Chantilly Cream
