That was the case this past weekend when we had this lovely family come to stay with us for Mother's Day. They have gotten together and stayed at hotels in Boston or Cambridge for the past seven years, but for some reason they decided to give Salem a try this year, and from what we can tell they really enjoyed it.
They were randomly selected as our VIP guests of the day, and with that honor comes the privilege of choosing which flags we fly on the front of the Hawthorne Hotel for the next day. These guests chose the flag of Albania, since their roots are in that country, and they seemed really happy to be able to do that.
Here is what Kim had to say in an email to me on Monday morning:
|Our guests, the Spiro family, took this photo of "their" flag from their room.|
Kim Spiro, Nancy Spiro (Mom) and Kelly Bradbury
I hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about the personal way we run the Hawthorne Hotel, getting to know our guests and appreciating their accomplishments.
And of course, I hope to see you here.
