What’s Happening in Salem this week
The 2014 Boston Marathon runners will be taking on the challenging 26 mile, 384 yard run today. Let the Front Desk staff know if you would like to go cheer them on as they take on one of the hardest Marathon courses. We would be happy to provide a commuter rail and T schedule as well as point you in the right direction.

This Day in History
The first detective story is published in 1841. Edgar Allen Poe’s story, The Murders in the Rue Morgue first appears in Graham’s Lady’s and Gentleman’s Magazine. Following the publication of Poe’s story, detective stories began to grow into novels.
