Judy Veinot Named Employee of the Month

When Judy decided to semi-retire a few years ago we were sad.  But we are so happy that she has been able to maintain a regular part-time presence in our Nathaniel's Restaurant. Judy has been with us for 24 years, and all during that time she has done an exemplary job in taking care of our customers in our fine dining restaurant.

More than any other server, Judy is requested by our guests who know of her ability to take care of them. Some customers have been "Judy's" since before she came to work here -- she was working at the original Lyceum Restaurant before joining the Hawthorne Team.

This first photo is a collage of her expressions when we surprised her as she walked into Nathaniel's before her shift on Valentine's evening.  You can see that she was truly touched by our words and the honor of being named Part-Time Employee of the Month for January 2014.

While a slightly blurry photo, I wanted you to see the assembled managers who came to surprise Judy and offer their applause to her for her honor.

Left to right:  Zak Leete, Dining Services Supervisor; Judy Veinot; Claire Kallelis, Assistant General Manager and Director of Food and Beverage; Jasmina Conley, Assistant Dining Services Manager; and Ceni Qoshja, Dining Services Supervisor

Please join me in offering your congratulations to Judy when you see her in Nathaniel's or elsewhere around the hotel.  I know she will appreciate the kind words.
