Christmas in Salem

There is always SO MUCH going on in Salem, it seems all of the time, but especially this time of the year. Tonight Historic Salem kicks off their holiday tour of historic homes, which is called Christmas in Salem .  If you click on the link in the prior sentence you will find out all you need to know about it, including where to get tickets.  It runs through the weekend.

The House of the Seven Gables offers a number of special events for the season.  Here is a link to their page of activities:  House of the Seven Gables Holiday Events .

The Hawthorne Hotel is expecting Santa to come down off the roof at 6 pm tonight.  He will be greeting all the little children of Salem on the Common for caroling and hot cocoa, and then proceeding to the Museum Place Mall for photos,

There is a Teddy Bear Tea here at the Hawthorne Hotel on Saturday December 7 from noon to 2 pm.  Reservations are strongly suggested.  978-825-4311.

Our Brunch with Santa is currently fully committed, but we do have a wait list, and with cold and flu season in full swing, cancellations are certainly probable, so getting your name on the wait list is a good idea.  That will be taking place on Saturday December 14.  978-825-4311

We are also currently fully booked for Christmas Eve dinner, but we do have some space available for our Christmas Day Grand Buffet.  Call 978-825-4311 to reserve before it is too late.

The comedy,  "A Tuna Christmas" is playing at the Salem Theatre Company on Lafayette Street.  For more information go to A "Tuna Christmas"

The Peabody Essex Museum always has special events going on.  For more information go to their calendar of events at:  PEM Calendar of Events .

I hope all this information is helpful to you, and of course, I hope to see you here.
