A Garden in Winter

We love gardens, as I am sure you may have already figured out.  There are so many lovely little public gardens hidden away, yet accessible, here in Salem.  One such garden is actually also a restaurant, the Garden Restaurant at PEM (Peabody Essex Museum) and you can dine there whenever it is open, without paying admission to the Museum.

Here are some cool photos of that garden just after the second snowfall of December here in Salem:




Despite how lovely these photos, done by our own Jasmina Conley of our Dining Services Team, are, they sure are not all cozy looking as a place for dining, right?

For that to take place, you will want to dine INSIDE the Garden Restaurant, which is accessible and now more easily lo find, being right next to the new Art and Nature Center at this fabulous museum.  Here is an "inside" photo so you can see where you will be seated:

Here is the current menu, which will change for the winter on December 26.  So if there is something on this menu that you really enjoy, you might want to make a quick trip to PEM  to enjoy it before it "goes on vacation" until next fall.
