Second Annual Menorah Lighting
Saturday, November 30th from 6:30pm-7:30pm at Lappin Park
Mayor Kimberley Driscoll and Chabad of the North Shore are pleased to announce the second annual Menorah Lighting in Lappin Park on Saturday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. The entire community is welcome to celebrate the Festival of Lights in a public display of unity as the City kindles the giant twelve foot Menorah. Chanukah -the Festival of Lights- brings back for many fond memories of childhood years and renews a sense of identity. The Chanukah lights provide warmth, joy, strength, and inspiration. Bring the kids and make this your special Chanukah celebration. Following the kindling, the program will feature Chanukah treats and live music. For more information, contact Chabad of the North Shore at (781) 581-3833 or visit www.northshorechanukah.com.

This Day in History
On November 30, 2004, after winning 74 straight games and more than $2.5 million--a record for U.S. game shows--Jeopardy! contestant Ken Jennings loses. Jennings' extended winning streak gave the game show a huge ratings boost and turned the software engineer from Salt Lake City, Utah into a TV hero and household name, at least temporarily.

I hope to see you here!

Juli
