The Hawthorne Hotel would like to welcome all of our guests who are staying here for our annual Halloween festivities!

Restaurant Hours for Saturday, October 26th:
Nathaniel’s- Serving the regular breakfast menu from 7am-11am and serving a breakfast buffet from 9am-12:30pm
Tavern on the Green-Serving lunch from 11am-2pm
Room Service-Serving from 6:30am-11pm.

Restaurant Hours for Sunday, October 27th:
Nathaniel’s- Serving the regular breakfast menu from 7am-1:30pm and serving a breakfast buffet from 8:30am-1:30pm. 
Tavern on the Green- Open 11am-11pm
Room Service-Serving from 6:30am-11pm.

What’s Happening in Salem this week
Nightmare on Hawthorne Boulevard at the Hawthorne Hotel
Saturday, October 26th from 8:00pm-12:00am
Join us for the social event of the season—The Annual Costume Party held at the historic Hawthorne Hotel.  A night of food, music, and controlled chaos, interrupted only by a fantastic costume contest with up to $1,500 in prizes. Come as your worst nightmare!

This Day in History
On October 26, 1825, the Erie Canal opens, connecting the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean via the Hudson River. Governor DeWitt Clinton of New York, the driving force behind the project, led the opening ceremonies and rode the canal boat Seneca Chief from Buffalo to New York City.
