Top Three Ways to Get Information For Your Visit to Salem, MA

~ #SalemMA

There are so many things to do on a visit to Salem, and yet many people have this vision of "doing" Salem on a "day-trip" here.   While it is a great destination for a nearby visit, there are literally hundreds of places to see, both here in Salem, and in the surrounding area, that one could spend weeks here seeing and doing all there is to see and do.

The House of the Seven Gables

To that end I direct you to three places to gather more information for your visit.

1)  Destination Salem is the visitor service place-to-go to get more information on all things "Salem".  You can most easily access their information on line by going to www.salem.org, or by calling the office at (978) 741-3252.

2)  If you are a history buff, you will want to "base" in Salem and visit all the cool places that are a "day-trip"
or less away from Salem.  To learn more you will want to check out our "Travels with Nathaniel" blog by
going to Travels with Nathaniel Blog.  You can "base" yourself right here in Salem and travel by car or
commuter rail to many places here on the North Shore.  You can also "friend" Travels with Nathaniel on
Facebook.  Just type that in to your search window and it will take you right to his page.

3.  For another perspective you should check out the Essex National Heritage Area and you can get
started by going to their website, Salem Page of Essex National Heritage Site.  Of course there is much more
in Essex than Salem, but we like to think this is the perfect "center" from which to see it all.

I hope to see you here.
