Pasta Perfect

Culinary-centered travel is certainly a "big" thing these days, and here in #SalemMA we are lucky to have many culinary reasons to visit.  One of them is a relatively new pasta shop called Jean Louis Pasta.

The shop is located at 84 Derby St. which puts it about halfway between the Hawthorne Hotel and one of our other favorite "food" destinations in Salem, Hobbs Popcorn at the Willows.

 Jean Louis, the owner, makes the pasta himself.


 The long pasta shapes are dried to make them easier for you to handle.

 The filled pastas, such as ravioli, are frozen, again to make them easier for you to handle.  You simple boil a big pot of salted water and drop them in from frozen.

 If you cannot decide which to get for a gift, a Pasta Guy gift card might be just the ticket.

He has created his own line of pasta sauces, and if you cannot decide which one to buy, he will help you match pasta to sauce.
