The Happy Sunflower shop on Pickering Wharf will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 30th from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. This free event is open to children of all ages, and there will be a special appearance by the one and only Easter Bunny. Located just a short walk away at Pickering Warf, The Happy Sunflower sells crafts, gifts and florals, and this event is sure to be a lot of fun for all involved.

On this day in 1973, the last U.S. combat troops leave South Vietnam as Hanoi frees the remaining American prisoners of war held in North Vietnam. America's direct eight-year intervention in the Vietnam War was at an end. In Saigon, some 7,000 U.S. Department of Defense civilian employees remained behind to aid South Vietnam in conducting what looked to be a fierce and ongoing war with communist North Vietnam.

I hope to see you here!
