If anyone is interested in receiving one or more of our poinsettias once we dismantle our Lobby tree of them this year, please message us here. I'll let you know when they will be available.
2. If you live here in Salem, here is a suggestion for disposing of your previously live evergreen tree:
City of Salem's 10th Annual Christmas Tree Bonfire
Friday, January 4th - Dead Horse Beach at Salem Willows - 6:30 p.m.
Free Hot Chocolate & Music
(Rain/Snow/Wind Reschedule Date: Saturday, January 5th)
(check www.salem.com for rescheduling information)
Bring your Christmas tree with you that evening, drop it off at the beach after January 2nd or leave it out for curbside pickup beginning January 2nd. Please remove all decorations and lights from your tree (FYI – Citywide Christmas Tree Curbside Collection will also take place as scheduled January 7–11, 2013).
Sponsored by the City of Salem, Salem Park Recreation & Community Services Department & The Gathering.
I hope to see you here, before or after the event.
