Hotel Notes

Is there a little prince or princess in your family?  Then join us for our annual Princess Tea on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 12:00pm-2:00pm.  With tea, music, and photos with the “Hawthorne Hotel” princesses, this event is sure to delight young royalty.  Children 12 and under are $20.95, children 3 and under $12, and adults are $30.95.  All prices inclusive of tax and gratuity.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 978-825-4311. 

Tonight at 9:00pm there will be live music at local restaurant 43 Church on nearby Church Street. Join Qwill and the Soul Review project with musicians Jon Aruda, Michael Feingold, and Dennis Monagle with special guest DJ Forrest James. As always, there is no cover charge.

On this Sunday, January 13 at 3:00pm at Salem High School is the continuation of the 108th season of the Salem Philharmonic Orchestra Winter Concert Series. The concert features a diverse program played by a 45 piece orchestra of talented, mostly professional musicians, along with some selected amateurs and special guest soloists Judith Braude on flute and soprano singer Kathy Lordon.

The Garden Restaurant at the Peabody Essex Museum is now open year round, Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30AM-2:30PM. For reservations call 978-745-9500 ext. 3118.
