Guest Newsletter for Saturday, December 15

Here is the Hawthorne Guest Messenger for Saturday, December 15.

Hotel Notes

Tonight at 6:30pm in Lappin Park on Washington Street there will be a silent prayer and candlelight vigil for the victims of the tragedy in Newtown, CT. Immediately following the vigil at 7:00pm there will be a ceremony to light the Menorah for the final night of Hanukkah – a festival of light. Please bring a candle if you are able.

The Hawthorne Hotel would like to Congratulate Anna Duncan and Mike Percuoco on their wedding today! We are so happy to be a part of your special day, and we hope that all of your guests are happy here with us as well. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make you feel at home. Cheers!

Exhausted by your busy holiday schedule?  Come relax in our pub style restaurant, Tavern on the Green, and recharge with our Mocha Mintini.  With a delicious blend of Pinnacle Espresso vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, peppermint schnapps and a splash of cream, it’s sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit!

This Day in History: On December 15, 2001, the Leaning Tower of Pisa reopened after a team of experts spent 11 years and nearly $27 million to fortify the tower without eliminating its famous lean.

The Garden Restaurant at the Peabody Essex Museum is now open year round, Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30AM-2:30PM. For reservations call 978-745-9500 ext. 3118.

I hope to see you here!
