Guest Newsletter for Thursday, November 8

Here is the Hawthorne Guest Messenger for Thursday, November 8, 2012.

Hotel Notes

  • It’s Salem Fall Restaurant Week! All week long, select local restaurants, including our own Nathaniel’s, will be offering three-course meals for $25. Other nearby restaurants offering this deal include 43 Church, Bella Verona, and Finz.

  • The Hawthorne Hotel would like to welcome our guests from Salem’s sister city, Ota, Japan. We are so glad to be hosting you during this visit to Salem!

  • We would also like to welcome our guests from the NECPDCA Conference, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the Boston Early Music Festival, and the McGilvray-Bice wedding group!

What’s Happening in Salem and the North Shore This Week

  • There is live music tonight just down the street at Scratch Kitchen, a great local café and eatery that features locally sourced ingredients and a great beer selection. Their Thursday night music sessions begin at 6:00pm and are always a fun and lively time.
  • This Saturday at 4:00pm at Old Town Hall in nearby Derby Square, German Shepherd Rescue of New England is hosting Hops & Grapes, a beer and wine tasting featuring over 40 local beers and wines, live music and appetizers for $30 at the door. All proceeds go to benefit the charity hosting the event.

I hope to see you here,

Juli
