Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Walking Dead, Argo, and Frankenweenie All at Cinema Salem

Cinema Salem is a favorite theater among locals not just for the cozy atmosphere the theater has, but for the unique and exciting programming there on a regular basis. This month is no exception.

Friday October 12 and Friday October 19 at midnight (technically Saturday morning) they will continue their new autumn tradition of an interactive showing of the cult classic, Rocky Horror Picture Show. It will sure to bring out some of Salem's most interesting Transylvanians.

For fans of the AMC zombie hit, The Walking Dead, there will be free screenings of new episodes beginning on Sunday October 14 at 9:00 pm.

For movie goers there are a variety of films to choose from. Tim Burton's Frankenweenie is sure to delight younger crowds while Argo will be a treat for more mature audiences.

Argo is a film based on true events that follows an operation to rescue six Americans who have been taken hostage in Iran. The film is highly moving and is currently receiving a ninety three percent on the popular film rating site Rotten Tomatoes.com.
