Happy Halloween! Here is the Hawthorne Guest Messenger for Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

What’s Happening in Salem and the North Shore Today:
  • From 3pm to 8pm today, The Nightmare Gallery on Derby Street will transform from the top Monster Museum in New England to Salem’s terrifying #1 Haunted House! Stop by before 3pm to see this awesome homage to vintage horror films and monsters everywhere, or go after dark for the scary shocks!
  • Tonight beginning at 7:15pm at the House of the Seven Gables, relive the events of 1692 when the Salem Witch Trials wrought havoc on Salem. Encounter magistrate John Hathorne as well as the accused and their accusers in this interactive dramatic experience. Performances begin every five minutes and last approximately 35 minutes.
  • Tonight The Salem Haunted Magic Show will take place in the Hawthorne Hotel Library at 8pm and 10pm. You will witness incredible magic, mental ism and hear some spooky stories from Salem and the Hawthorne’s elusive history. The Library is located on our Basement level.
  • The Halloween Finale Fireworks will take place tonight at 10:00pm at the top of nearby Washington Street. Weather permitting, this event is the official end to Salem’s Halloween season.
  • Looking for a local Halloween party? The following nearby restaurants are hosting costume bashes with live music, dancing and prizes! Finz and Victoria Station on Pickering Wharf, 43 Church on Church Street, and Rockafellas on Washington Street!

I hope to see you here!
