•Today is the final day of the Caps, Capes & Characters Weekend Festival at the nearby Peabody Essex Museum. This is a fun opportunity to check out one of Salem’s premier attractions and join the fun as we celebrate the new exhibit Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones. Explore hats, costumes and imagination through lively storytelling, mime performances and artist demonstrations. Make your own hat and costume accessories to wear home!
What’s Happening in Salem and the North Shore Today
•Today at 6pm, 6:30pm and 7pm the Salem Trolley will be hosting their Tales and Tombstones Trolley Tour. Take an exclusive tour of the Salem of the Shadows after dark. $20 for adult tickets, $15 for seniors and $10 for children. Tour runs one hour and meets at 8 Central Street. Reservations can be made by calling 978-744-5469.
•Right outside on Hawthorne Boulevard today, in the tent next door to Artemisia Botanicals is Ask a Witch and Make a Wand! $1.00 to Make a Wand and ALL proceeds will benefit local charities. Asking a witch your questions is free of course!
