Guest Newsletter for Saturday, October 13

Here is the Hawthorne Guest Messenger for Saturday, October 13.

     Hotel Notes

The Hawthorne Hotel would like to congratulate Nicole Iovanni and Joseph Rodgers on their wedding here tonight. We are very happy to be a part of your special day, and we hope that all of Nicole and Joseph’s guests enjoy themselves here with us!

The Hawthorne Hotel welcomes the guests of the Baxter-Musser wedding who are staying with us this weekend. Thank you for choosing us as your hosts for this special occasion, and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you feel at home here in Historic Salem!

Today is the 15th annual Halloween Children’s Day on the Salem Common, right across the street from
our Hotel! This will feature live performers, costume contests with prizes, foods, rides and games. Large
bouncy rides and Pony rides too!

What’s Happening in Salem and the North Shore This Week:

Right outside on Hawthorne Boulevard today, in the tent next door to Artemisia Botanicals is Ask a Witch and Make a Wand! $1.00 to Make a Wand and ALL proceeds will benefit local charities. Asking a witch your questions is free of course!

Tonight from 8:30pm to 12:30am is Eat, Drink and Be Scary, a special event at the Knights of Columbus at 94 Washington Square. This special Halloween party is hosted by “Gigi, the queen of Salem.” This event features live entertainment, dancing, food and a cash bar. Costumes are optional, but there are prizes for the best ones! Admission is $25 and proceeds benefit PALS Animal Life Savers of Salem.

Be sure to check out Facebook page as well for even more news and updates!

I hope to see you here!
