Fire Safety Training at the Hawthorne Hotel

Hawthorne Hotel management team members: Tom Bracken, Rebecca Cope, Andy Seidel, Thomas MacDonald, Karen O'Kane, Liz Dube, Lucie Ogeron and Megan Campbell demonstrate their capabilities.  In the final frame a local resident walking the Common this morning asked for and got a lesson from the Lt. from the Salem Fire Department while our team looked on.
We take safety here at the Hawthorne Hotel very seriously.  So, once a year we have fire extinguisher training where our staff members can actually use a fire extinguisher so they know what it feels like, and can feel confident should the need arise.

We have 44 fire extinguishers located throughout the Hawthorne Hotel, and of course we make sure that they are always fully charged and ready for any emergency.

It was such a nice day for our excursion onto the Common for our training.

Thanks to the Salem Fire Department for helping us get this important task checked off of our "to-do" list.  Besides keeping our hotel looking good, and providing good service, it is always critical to us for this to be a safe place.

We hope to see you here.
