Salem is full of rich historic homes and buildings every where you turn. No exception is Historic New England's Phillip's Trust House, located on Chestnut Street. This preserved home has been a long time favorite among Salem residents as it provides a perfect snapshot into what life was like for Salem residents in the early twentieth century.
Next Thursday, September 27 at 7:00 pm, Historic New England Registrar, Megan MacNeil, will be hosting "The Lost Art of Etiquette". MacNeil will be leading a lecture detailing just how important and specific the rules of etiquette were during the Phillips family's time period, as well as touring visitors through the first floor of the home for a peak at some of their beautiful collections.
