Hats On For Hospice

Yesteday we were proud to once again host the event put on by Maryann Curtin and the North Shore Bad Girls that is a fund raiser for Hospice of the North Shore.  This event grew out of an annual tea party that the "Bad Girls" would put on for themselves every year, becoming a hugely successful and meaningful event for the patients and family served by Hospice.

Here are some photos of yesterday's event:

A variety of ways to donate money were available in the Lobby, from basket raffles to jewelry cocktails and many other fun things!

The Grand Ballroom was dressed in a variety of jewel-toned colors, adding to the festivities.

Thanks to Peterson Party Rentals for the donation of the use of the gold ballroom chairs.

Sillouettes were hand-cut by one of the committee members to create the table decor.
The youngest "Bad Girl" was just 11-months old.  Last year she attended in a different outfit, her Mom!

Bill Graham of Beautiful Things showed us how to wear a hat, and how to customize a hat.

The chefs of the Hawthorne Hotel created delightful tea sandwiches and other tea delights.

Picture frames were available, as were a variety of hats, for those "picture perfect" moments.

I wore my own hat, but borrowed one of the frames to demonstrate how it all worked.

This is such a delightful event, one that sells out every year with a waiting list of people who are anxious to get on the guest list.  We are so happy to be part of something that is both fun, and for a very worthy cause.

I hope to see you here.
