Tavern's February Dinner Specials

Every month the chefs here at the Hawthorne Hotel conjure up some delicious dinner specials for our Tavern guests to enjoy on Sunday through Wednesday nights.  We call them our Locals' specials, because so many of our customers are "locals" but certainly anyone is welcomed to enjoy them.  This month there is certainly something for every taste, from the all-American chicken-fried steak, to the Chinese stir-fried chicken, or the French-influenced steamed mussels.

 Chicken-fried steak, cream gravy, horseradish mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans.
 Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels simmered with tomato, fennel and garlic broth, 
served with saffron-aioli toast.  

 "China Trade" Sauteed chicken, red peppers and mushrooms, soy-peanut sauce, over steamed rice.

The entrees are all served as part of a three-course meal, including your choice of soup or salad, and the chef's selection dessert of the day, all for only $15.50 per person.

I hope to see you here, Sunday through Wednesday nights, from 5 pm to 10 pm, for one of these delicious specials.
