Touring Salem Massachusetts the Smart Way!

Travel blogs and magazines can be so helpful in planning visits to certain locales, because you can get a taste of a place before you go, and learn enough so that you don't waste a lot of time finding exactly the right attractions to visit.   When the articles are well-written, and well-photographed, you cannot help but want to visit there yourself, to really have that three-dimensional experience.

The Distracted Wanderer is one such travel blog, and Linda's recent article on visiting the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) is absolutely terrific.  I know, because I visited these parts of the Museum with her, and can see what a wonderful job she did in capturing the essence of our visit.

I hope you enjoy reading this excellent article, and I do hope you start planning your visit to Salem soon!

PEM Tour -- From Shelter to Showpiece

Don't forget that the Hawthorne Hotel offers a PEM package which includes tickets to this outstanding museum, and that your entry to the museum includes this particular tour as well.

I hope to see you here.

  1. I love Linda's posts on The Distracted Wanderer, she makes it easy to plan a trip to Salem for sure!

    1. Thank you, Claire! If you want to do this tour when you're visiting Salem in the fall I'd be more than happy to take it again with you!
