This lovely event, hosted by Maryann Curtin last year, was certainly worthy of a blog post, but somehow I left it in DRAFT status and just noticed that it needed to be published. This event took place in the Pickman Room, which was just the right size for the gathered number of women who got together to enjoy a special afternoon with one of our favorite ladies.
Place cards and gold chargers set the stage for the food to follow.
A tiny salad to whet the appetite.
Tiered tea trays loaded with goodies, from tea sandwiches, to scones, tea cakes to chocolate-dipped cookies..
Silver teapots were re-purposed into flower vases.
Maryann Curtin, the hostess, with Karen O'Kane, our Director of Catering, who booked the event.
I hope you enjoy yet another look at what we love to do here at the Hawthorne Hotel.
