Live Theater in Downtown Salem

Having a little theater in downtown Salem is SUCH a treat, especially when that theater is comfortable, conveniently located to the Hawthorne Hotel, and really presents interesting works, done well.

The current show, An Empty Plate in the Cafe du Grand Boeuf, is another wonderful example of just how delightful a live theater production can be.  Here is a video of some scenes to whet your appetite:  Empty Plate in the Cafe du Grand Boeuf

In addition to recommending this production, I will add my personal "helpful hint" -- be sure to have a nice meal before you go.  You will not want to watch this on an empty stomach.

Since the productions start at 7:30 pm most nights, you have time to come to Nathaniel's and enjoy our early bird special.  Order any full-sized entree before 5:30 pm, and you will receive a complimentary soup or salad starter, and a complimentary dessert, thus receiving a three-course dinner for the price of your entree.  This is such a great value, and the timing could not be better for attending this play.

Here is a link to their website, where you can purchase your tickets, and don't forget about this Sunday's "name your own price" afternoon matinee at 3 pm.   Salem Theatre Company

I hope to see you here.
