I hope you enjoy this look at the costumes from some of our excellent guests at the annual Halloween costume ball.

Most of all, I hope you plan to come to the Ball next year!  I can assure you, you will have a great time.

  2. The costumes at the Ball ran the gamut from beautiful to creepy to disgusting to elegant to imaginative to madcap to scary and to everywhere in between! All of the party-goers are to be commended for bringing the spirit of Halloween to the Hawthorne Hotel on Saturday night and making my job as a judge downright difficult! I can honestly say it was more fun than one humble blogger should be allowed to have in one night!

Also, it should be noted what a wonderful job the Hawthorne staff did in putting on the best party I think I've ever been to - and I'm not just saying that to butter you up in the hopes you'll invite me back next year!

Two enthusiastic thumbs up - severed or intact!!
