Trash Menagerie Exhibit Inspires Guest

We love the TRASH MENAGERIE exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) so much that we created a package centered around it. This exhibit celebrates the reuse, recycling, and repurposing of so many things. Our package includes a bag of recyclables, and some craft items to use in making some art.

Recently one of our lovely guests, Michelle Lagueux, who purchased our Trash Menagerie Package, created this new 'mascot' for the Hawthorne Hotel with the items that we included in the package. She even named our new mascot, Nate-Bob Hawthorne!

We adore our new piece of art, and especially the way in which it was created, and had to share it with you, fair blog reader. In addition, we will be displaying it with our Hawthorne Hotel memorabilia in our lobby display case, in honor of our 85th year as the iconic hotel of Salem, MA.
I hope you enjoy seeing this as much as I do. . . . and I hope to see you here. BTW, Trash Menagerie will be ending its time at PEM on May 23, so don't waste any time getting here to see it.

I hope to see you here (or there!)
