Yin Yu Tang and Martha Stewart

I just received this email from the Peabody Essex Museum, and had the opportunity to see this article in the magazine. It is terrific article, that really clearly describes this jewel of a historic artifact that is part of our fabulous PEM.

I hope you take the opportunity to come to see this in person. It is a very special place to visit.

Don't forget that we have packages that include passes to the Peabody Essex Museum. Give us a call to find out more. 978-744-4080, or toll-free at 800-729-7829.

I hope to see you here.

Juli

PS -- If you cannot make it here right now, at least go out and buy the magazine and read the article for yourself. There are a lot of great photos as well.

It is a little-known fact that Martha Stewart loves China. And she prides herself on being an educator to the millions of people who watch her television show, visit her website and read her publications. We were delighted when she accepted our invitation to cover Yin Yu Tang and tell the story of its coming to PEM.

Attached is the four-page feature in the middle of this month's (Janurary 2010) issue of Martha Stewart Living. MSL boasts a circulation of over 2 million readers -- roughly equivalent to the population of New Mexico, and twice the readership of The New York Times.

Congraulations to Nancy Berliner on the wonderful interview. We're so proud of this piece -- in the works since spring of last year -- and hope you enjoy it.
