Shopping and Lunching

If you are like me, and still have shopping to do, here is a great suggestion:

Come to PEM (Peabody Essex Museum) today on your lunch hour. Admission to the Gift Shop and the Atrium Cafe are both FREE. You can shop in their terrific gift shop which has something for everyone, and everything is of lovely quality and thoughtfulness -- not your usual shop at all!

Then you can breeze into the Atrium for a quick lunch, either there or 'to-go' and be back to work in no time. We have salads and sandwiches packaged up and ready to grab and go, and there are two soups, the Soup of the Day, and our excellent New England Clam Chowder. Both the bowl and the cup are very generous servings, and you will love our sandwiches made on bread from A & J King Artisan Bakery right here in Salem.
