Hawthorne Hotel Children's Holiday Party Highlights

Every year for as long as we can remember, the Hawthorne Hotel has put on a holiday event, with Santa, for the children of the Hawthorne Hotel staff. This year was more of the same, but it seems this year we had quite a baby boom as well.


Kelly Ann Cotton, center above, volunteered to sing a medley of holiday songs. We couldn't resist that kind of impromptu and generous entertainment offer, and Kelly Ann took center stage with two of her back-up singers assisting. It was quite a show.

Also volunteering to sing was Katie Bonci, of our Dining Service Department. Katie has a lovely singing voice which harmonized very nicely with our 'regular' entertainer, Julie Doherty. (Katie is on the right, above, and Julie on the left.)

We did not have an opportunity before this to profile another Hawthorne Hotel baby, Amy, seen with her mother, Lori, above. Lori works for us in Dining Services, and she has been with us for a very long time. We know many guests come in specifically so that Lori can take care of them. Congratulations, Lori and family, on your new bundle of joy!

Yet another part of the Hawthorne Hotel baby boom, here you see Kristen (of our Banquet Department) with her little one, Emma, who was actually born late last year. Santa serenaded everyone with his electric fiddle as he made his way to his place of honor to hear the children's holiday wishes.
