Beverly Hospital's Southern Belles Visit Salem

One of the fun things about working in a hotel is that you never know who is going to walk in the door next. That is doubly true in Salem, Massachusetts in October, because we have become the Halloween Capital of the World, and people think coming here in costume is a hoot -- and it is!

Nearly all of these women are endoscopy nurses at Beverly Hospital, with one operating room nurse for some variety. We speculate that when you do that kind of work for a living, you probably deserve a fantasy day in Salem every once in awhile.

Nurse Christine Curtis made all of the fabulous dresses.

They came to the Hawthorne Hotel and went out around Salem for shopping, a good time, drinks, men, and to celebrate the birthday of Nurse Savannah Gauthier.

If you plan to come to Salem in costume this year, be sure to come to show off for us, and you may wind up on our blog as well.

Those costumes are amazing. Beverly Hospital is a wonderful place, so I'm not surprised to see that the nurses are as beautiful as they are caring!

Christine should be working on a period movie as costume director.Glorious costumes. Mary C-K is the prettiest. Can I play next year?

It must be true that nurses who play and have fun together take excellent care of patients together.

Absolutely beautiful costumes! You make a great team of Southern Belles as I am sure a great team of co-workers.
