Cry Innocent, Old Town Hall
Without doubt, the one thing virtually everyone who recognizes the name "Salem, Massachusetts" says is "oh, the witch trials".
"Cry Innocent" is a play which is presented by History Alive, as part of Gordon College, and which depicts the People versus Bridget Bishop on trial, where the audience plays the part of the jury.
This play is presented in Old Town Hall, just a few blocks away from the Hawthorne Hotel. Performances are scheduled from June 19 through August 21, and then on Saturdays only in September. In October the performances again run daily at times during the midday period.
