Spring Has Sprung

Here are photos to prove it -- spring has arrived in Salem, Massachusetts. Our pansies in the window boxes are always the first harbinger of spring for the residents of Salem. Once they are planted, everyone else in town knows its okay to come out of hibernation.

We would love for you to come by in person to 'smell the flowers'. If you think it's still too cool to be outdoors, the fire is still burning in the Tavern fireplace, so come on in for a drink or a meal. Please tell us that you saw this post on our blogspot. If you are the first to do so, we'll buy your meal!

Our guests frequently ask us where we get our beautiful flowers for the planter boxes. They are grown especially for us by Nunan's Greenhouse in Georgetown, Massachusetts. If you go there, please be sure to say 'hi' to Steve, and tell him we sent you. Here is a link to their website:

If you are planning a trip to Salem, here is our website -- you can go right there to make reservations, or you can call us at 1-800-729-7829. Ask for the Manager's Special, and tell our reservationist that you heard about that on our blogspot.

With best regards,
